Our Donors

The Danforth Center is grateful to be entrusted with public, private, and donor resources to deliver on our mission. We are accountable for intentional, efficient, and effective use of these resources. We subscribe to the Association of Fundraising Professional's Code of Ethical Conduct and the Donor Bill of Rights. The Danforth Center holds a Four-Star rating from Charity Navigator and the Platinum Seal of Transparency from Candid. The Platinum Seal is awarded to fewer than 1% of the 1.8 million nonprofits profiled on Candid's leading charity rating website, GuideStar.org.

Efficiency and Accountability

The Danforth Center acknowledges that leading-edge research and philanthropy require the highest trust of the public. We are proud to report that our operations total only 17% of expenses. That's less than half the 35% charity efficiency threshold recommended by the Better Business Bureau. Fully 100% of donations to our Impact Fund support our mission. To learn more about how efficiently we utilize our resources and the impact we are making with them, we invite you to read our annual reports and review our IRS 990 forms below.
