Molly's research focuses on root biology and root-soil interactions with the goal of understanding how different root system traits can lead to more resilient plants and crops. As part of the New Roots for Restoration Institute, she works largely towards understanding the below-ground traits and functioning of emerging perennial crop plants and systems.
