2026 Conversations: The Future of Farming

October 29, 2026
5:30 pm - 7:15 pm

Feeding the world and restoring our planet will be decided, in large part, by what happens on farms in the next coming decades.

Hear from three voices shaping agriculture from completely different vantage points:

  • Matt Moreland of Moreland Farms, proving what regenerative practices can look like at “Big Ag” scale across 20,000 acres;
  • Stephen Nicholson of Rabobank, one of the sharpest minds translating global commodities and finance into what’s next for growers and markets; and
  • Allison Miller, PhD, Danforth Center principal investigator and professor of biology at Saint Louis University, whose work on perennial crops—including perennial wheat—points to a radically different model for productivity and sustainability.

Together, they’ll dig into what’s changing fast—and what’s coming next: on-farm innovation, the market forces rewriting the playbook, and the science accelerating real-world solutions. Expect a forward-looking conversation with practical insight, big ideas, and a clear-eyed look at how we grow more food (and farmer profit) with less input.

Reservations are free for both in-person and virtual attendees, but required.
