St. Louis Magazine explores how the St. Louis bioscience ecosystem is opening doors for people who didn't take a traditional path into the field — from new partnerships like the JJK FAN Innovation Center in East St. Louis to programs like the Danforth Center's Pivot to Plants fellowship. Former fellow Tess Rogers, who spent nearly a decade as a naturalist before joining the program, is now a biologist at Bayer, work she credits entirely to the fellowship.
