(St. Louis Inno) New study aims to provide 'foundation' for St. Louis' workforce strategy in biosciences

A new study compiled by researchers at the University of Missouri Extension and published by BioSTL, “aims to provide an overview of the region's workforce in the plant, life and medical sciences.” The report shows that about half of the expected job openings over the next ten years will not require a four-year college degree. BioSTL says this creates an opportunity to make the biosciences industry more diverse and accessible for workers.
