Karla Roeber
Vice President of External Affairs, Office of the President
Karla Roeber is Vice President, External Affairs, Office of the President and works to ensure that the Danforth Center’s external engagement is strategic, coordinated and aligned with the Danforth Center’s research priorities, reinforcing its leadership and impact. In this role she works to strengthen relationships, public positioning, and institutional engagement with government officials, public-sector partners, coalitions, innovation ecosystems, and key stakeholders. Prior to joining the Danforth Center in 2008, Karla served in public service including roles as District Director to U.S. Senator John C. Danforth and Staff Assistant to Congressman Joseph M. McDade in Washington, D.C. She earned a bachelor’s degree with honors from Saint Louis University. In recognition of her contributions to the agtech community, she was honored as Member of the Year by the St. Louis Agribusiness Club in 2023.
