Conversations: Food Security is National Security

According to the UN, food security is deteriorating due to the impacts of the global pandemic and climate change. Without access to adequate safe and nutritious food, societal stability is threatened. Danforth Center scientists are using plant science to improve crops that can grow sustainably and feed more people despite heat, drought, and other stressors. Panelists will discuss geopolitical and security aspects of food with an eye toward 21st-century solutions.
