Hal Davies is the Chief Financial Officer at the Danforth Center. He has over 30 years of experience in accounting and financial management. Hal joined the Danforth Center after working three years as the Corporate Controller of the Alper Ink Group, an ink manufacturing company. Prior to joining Alper, he spent nine years as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for Huttig Distribution, a national distributor of building products headquartered in Chesterfield. Hal also worked nine years at the Public Accounting firm of Deloitte and spent two years on special assignment in the firm's executive offices in New York.
Hal obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at UMSL, has his CPA Certificate, and graduated from the Executive MBA Program at Washington University with honors in 1995. He is past president of the St Louis Chapter of the Financial Executives International and currently serves on the Board of the Open Space Council. Hal has two daughters and currently resides in University City with his wife Monique.
