Our laboratory is studying how plants sense and respond to environmental stresses such as drought, low temperature, and soil nutrient deficiency.  Understanding these stress signal transduction mechanisms will help us to breed crop plants with increased productivity and enhanced tolerance to adverse environmental conditions.
