The Donald Danforth Plant Science Center has assembled the following online resources which may be helpful for educators at all levels who wish to engage their students in the topics of plant science, world hunger, and nutrition. Within these links, there are numerous tools, activities and exercises for potential inclusion in curriculum for a variety of ages.

This website contains three sequential lessons at all levels—for primary, middle and high school classrooms—with objectives and pertinent information provided. The World Food Prize is a project founded by the Nobel Prize winner Dr. Norman Borlaug. This website opens a door for young people to have the opportunity to first-hand experience being a part of the solution to the issue of world hunger. Since 1962, the World Food Programme has been fighting hunger worldwide. It is part of the United Nations system, is voluntarily funded, and this year hopes to impact the hungry in over 70 countries. Visitors to this site will find videos, a realtime counter with staggering numbers, as well as an entire section designated for teachers and students. WFP classroom activities were developed by educators and offer a wide variety of lessons in all disciplines, spanning elementary through high school years.
