| Molview is a Macintosh application that can read several types of coordinate files and display ribbon, CPK, stick, ball&stick, and surface figures. The interface is completely interactive (i.e. no comand line input). There are countless options that control the display colors and characteristics. The output includes object-oriented PICT, QuickDraw 3D 3DMF files, QuickTime movies, and simple DXF formatted files. In addition, there are several analysis tools such as neighbors, distance lines, hydrophathy plots, Edmunson wheel plots, B value plots (and color coded stick models), distance plots. In addition, the user can open 2 different structures and even perform 3D alignments on them. MolView Lite is a simple renderer for the 3DMF files. From MolView, one can output the ribbon, stick, ball&stick, space filling, or rendered tube objects. These files can be rendered in MolView Lite and output as bit-imaged PICT files or as QuickTime movies. As with other 3DMF viewers, the user can interactively rotate the objects and change background colors. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
