Thomas Smith
Dr. Tom Smith received his B.S. (1982), M.S. (1984), and Ph.D. (1985) in Biochemistry from the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY. He was a Postdoctoral Research Associate in crystallography (1985-1987), an Assistant Research Scientist (1988-1989), an Assistant Professor (1989-1994), an Associate Professor (1994-1999), and a Professor (1999-2001) at Purdue University, W. Lafayette IN. In 2001, he joined the DDPSC as a Member and Principal Investigator at the same time became an adjunct Professor at Washington University in St. Louis.
