Organization

General Organization
CBN-V will be a five day conference. The first day will be devoted to presentations of the cassava crop and constraints for it productivity. Days 2-5 will be structured in a similar manner to previous CBN meetings and aimed at reviewing progress in cassava biotechnology and associated issues. The program will consist of key note addresses, panel discussions, plenary lectures, specialized seminars and poster sessions. Each of the eight sessions will be dedicated to one aspect of cassava biology and biotechnology. The successful workshop components of previous CBN meetings, each corresponding to a particular session, have been retained in order to allow all delegates the chance to openly discuss issues central to their disciplines.

The Danforth Plant Science Center has the capacity to electronically record all presentations made at CBN-V and for these to be posted on the web with three levels of resolution:
- high resolution video
- low resolution video
Through this facility we hope that colleagues and cassava researchers from around the world who were unable to attend CBN-V will be able to benefit from the conference.
