Dr. R. Howard Berg

Housed in a 1,000 square foot suite in the basement of the Danforth Center, the Integrated Microscopy Facility will furnish state of the art instrumentation for imaging plant cells. Live cell imaging will be done on a confocal/multiphoton microscope, and high resolution imaging of cells will be possible using the facility's electron microscope. A prep lab, microtome, and darkroom are included in the suite, as is a computer lab for digital analysis of images.
