Allan King

Allan King obtained a B Sc and M Sc from the University of Guelph, a Ph D from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, and post-doctoral training at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Montreal. He is professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences, OVC, University of Guelph and holds a tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Animal Reproductive Biotechnology. His research interests include the impact of reproductive biotechnologies on chromosome stability, gametogenesis, embryo development and pregnancy outcome. He is an associate editor of Reproduction in Domestic Animals and Molecular Reproduction and Development as well as theme co-coordinator for the OECD’s collaborative research program on Biological Resources Management for Sustainable Agricultural Systems.
