The Danforth Center Friends Program provides a tangible means, on an annual giving basis, to help others by improving the human condition through plant science. Friends of Danforth Center contribute to feeding the hungry and improving human health, preserving and renewing the environment, and enhancing our region as a world center of plant science.  Members of the Friends Program give the gift of a sustainable future and receive special benefits such as: 

The Donald Danforth Society  

Gifts of all sizes help the Danforth Center and its scientists to achieve its mission. Friends who support the Center with an annual fund gift of $1,000 or more are valued members of the Donald Danforth Society. Their gifts are among the Center's most valuable resources, for they provide the Center leaders with the flexible, unrestricted resources necessary to set its own priorities and respond to opportunities uncovered by its scientists. The society was founded to honor the tradition and philanthropic spirit of Donald Danforth, Sr., and Donald Danforth Jr.

Danforth Society members who support the Center with gifts of $2,500 or above may participate in the Named Research Sponsors Program. Named Research Sponsors receive an invitation to an annual luncheon to meet Danforth Scientists and learn more about their research.

those who share this dream.
