Nobel Laureate and Danforth Center Science Award Winner Norman Borlaug Issues Statement on Hunger
Dr. Norman Borlaug, widely credited as the "Father of the Green Revolution," recently published an editorial entitled "Feeding a Hungry World" in the journal Science. To read the paper, click HERE.

On the Air: Science Advisory Board Member Dr. Peter Raven Talks About Climate Change
Danforth Center Science Advisory Board Member and President of the St. Louis Botanical Gardens, Dr. Peter Raven, was recently featured on the PBS program NOW, in the show "God and Global Warming." The broadcast followed a group of Evangelical Christians and leading scientists as they travelled through Alaska. Science Advisory Board Member Dr. Clarence "Bud" Ryan Dies
Dr. Clarence "Bud" Ryan was a member of the Danforth Center's Science Advisory Board from 1999-2005. As a plant biochemist, his research on how plants respond to insects and diseases, and on innate resistance mechanisms, was a natural fit with the mission and research of the Danforth Center. Richard and Susan Kiphart Visit Center for Special Conversations Event
Dick and Susie Kiphart rounded out the 2007 Conversations Series with an intimate "Close Up" event. Speaking about their work building wells in Ghana, Susie delivered an inspiring example of how belief and commitment can accomplish great things. Danforth Center Video Featured in St. Louis Science Center's New "Breakthrough Gallery"
