Danforth President Named one of St. Louis' Most Influential
  The St. Louis Business Journal named Danforth Center President Dr. Roger N. Beachy one of the Most Influential St. Louisans. Dr. Beachy was one of four panelists invited to speak at the recognition breakfast on March 12.
  Danforth Center COO Appointed to St. Louis Fed's Agribusiness Council

Danforth Center Gives Gold Stars to "Research Sponsors" at Special Luncheon 
On Tuesday, December 4, the Danforth Center hosted a special group of Center Friends - Danforth Society members (at the Ambassador level or above) who participate in the Society's "Research Sponsors" program. The afternoon featured lunch, lab coats, and personal tours given by Principal Investigators Toni Kutchan, Chris Taylor, and Joe Jez. Support from Center Friends is critical to keep the Danforth Center running, but Danforth Center scientists must raise their own funds to support their research and their laboratories with scientific grants. Richard and Susan Kiphart Visit Center for Special Conversations Event
Dick and Susie Kiphart rounded out the 2007 Conversations Series with an intimate "Close Up" event. Speaking about their work building wells in Ghana, Susie delivered an inspiring example of how belief and commitment can accomplish great things.
